West Fermanagh
An exposed upland walk that takes most of a day and depends on the weather — worth planning around rather than squeezing in.

The Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail runs from the western edge of Fermanagh up across blanket bog towards the Cuilcagh summit plateau. Most of the route is a raised timber walkway, which is why the Cuilcagh walk became so well known — and why it is busier than anywhere else in the county on a fine weekend.
It is a full outing rather than a stop on a longer drive. Treat it as the day's main plan, and build the rest of the day around it.
Staying around Florencecourt, Marlbank or Belcoo puts you closest to the start and cuts the morning drive to a few minutes.
A longer drive out and back, but easier for evening food and for combining the walk with town-based days either side.

Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre is on the same western side of the county, a short drive from the trailhead. It is a separate visit with its own timings, so treat it as an option for a different day rather than something to add to a walking day by default.

If the hill is in cloud, the Lough Navar forest drive and the Cliffs of Magho viewpoint give you upland views with a much shorter walk, and Florence Court works as an indoor-and-grounds alternative.
The walking itinerary built around this trail, with the caves as a separate day.
